The Inn is just minutes from the Paso Robles area wineries and restaurants on a private 320 acre hideaway that is home to our vineyards and the Asuncion Ridge Inn. The California hacienda is the perfect wine country get away. Come to the high country, walk among the vines and look out to the Morro Bay coastline.
The Inn consists of three elegant suites with fine linens, patios and private baths with soaking tubs. The largest of the suites is over 900 sq. ft. and has a king size bed, hand carved stone fireplace, seating area and a large bath tiled in imported limestone. Relax on the private deck enjoying both ocean and forest views.
Guests are encouraged to enjoy a glass of Asuncion Ridge wine and a selection of cheese in one of three public rooms or on one of the outside verandas. A buffet champagne breakfast with choice of entree is served in the formal dining room or, when weather permits, on one of the outdoor patios.
We are also a boutique Paso Robles winery featuring ultra-premium Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and eclectic Red Blends made with Bordeaux and Rhone varietals. Our Tasting Room is located at 725 12th Street, on the Downtown City Park in Paso Robles, CA 93446 (805) 237-1425 and is open 7 days a week.

Located in the Paso Robles Region of California’s central coast lies Asuncion Ridge Vineyards and Inn. At an elevation of 2000 ft. and just a few miles from the sea, its cool climate is a perfect location to produce world class Pinot Noir and other grapes
that prefer cooler weather. We are a boutique winery, producing about 1100 cases per year. Our award-winning ultra premium wines include Estate Pinot Noir, and red blends made with Bordeaux and Rhone varietals.
Our philosophy is a simple one “wine is made in the vineyard.” To this end, all care is given to the grape production every step of the way. We believe our steep, well drained hillsides with their proximity to the ocean make it a perfect place to grow Pinot Noir. We have several clones of Pinot Noir planted including HMR, 777, 667, 115, Pomard 4 and 5 with additional vineyards planned.
We use a cover crop between the vine rows. The cover crop reduces vigor, adds deficient nutrients naturally back into the soil and promotes beneficial bugs and micro organisms resulting in healthy and sustainable soils. The ultimate result is a very fine wine!

2013 SAUVIGNON BLANC Aromas of Grapefruit, Passion Fruit, Pear and light spice. Beautiful mouth feel with balanced acids, long finish.

2010 ESTATE PINOT NOIR Winemaker Philip Krumal thinks this could be
the best vintage so far, favorably comparing it with the outstanding
2006 vintage but with a bit more body and depth. 250 cases produced.
2010 BARREL SELECT PINOT NOIR Made from 100% free run juice with our
favorite clones Pommard, 115 and 777, this Barrel Select Pinot gives
an initial sense of violets and roses on the nose. 6 bottle limit.

2009 SALACIOUS A classic GSM with big juicy Grenache from the Eastside
Navarrez Vineyard as 50% of the blend. The Syrah and Mourvedre come
from the Westside Hastings Ranch Vineyard and complete the blend at
25% each. Enjoy Salacious with a grilled filet of beef or herb-encrusted
rack of lamb. 100 cases produced. SOLD OUT
2009 3 SUM This vintage marks the four year for this exciting blend!
The magic happens with 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Syrah and 14% Zinfandel.
The exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon in this blend came in really ripe
with full clusters and very small berries from the Carmody McKnight
Vineyard on the Westside. The Syrah is a blend of fruit from the Hastings
Ranch Vineyard and Zenaida Vineyard “Hell Block.” The really nice ripe fruit in this year’s blend makes this wine excellent to enjoy on its own or with a variety of food. 125 cases produced. SOLD OUT
2011 NEFARIOUS This is our second vintage of Nefarious, a blend of 86% Syrah and 14% Grenache. Fifty percent of the Syrah comes from the Asuncion
Ridge home vineyard, with the remaining 50% from the Zenaida Vineyard “Hell Block.” We are particularly excited to feature the Asuncion Ridge home vineyard Syrah, as the cooler climate on the Ridge gives this wine an exciting spicy character with white pepper notes on the finish, and nice tannins that give the wine plenty of structure. The Grenache comes from the Navarrez vineyard perched on the Salinas River bank on the Eastside. 75 cases produced.
2009 LASCIVIOUS This is an opulent wine blended from 49% Mourvedre,
28% Syrah and 23% Cabernet Sauvignon. We sourced the Mourvedre and
Syrah from Hastings Ranch Vineyard and the Cabernet Sauvignon from
the Carmody McKnight Vineyard on the westside. Blackberry, Plum, Cassis with
coffee and dark chocolate on the nose. A fruit-forward and juicy full
mouth feel with a soft, lingering finish. A perfect choice with braised
short ribs, grilled tri-tip or a luscious blue cheese. 200 cases made
2013 VOLOPTUOUS Our first ever late harvest Sauvignon Blanc. Slightly sweet, nevery syrupy, this dessert wine will rock with fruit tarts, peach cobbler, cheescake with mandarin sauce or any fruit and cheese plate.

Ocean view, hardwood floors, queen bed, marble bath with combination shower and soaking tub, private patio.
The Zinfandel Suite ~
Garden and hillside views, hardwood floors, queen bed, antique marble bath with separate soaking tub and walk in shower, and patio.

Asuncion Ridge Eggs Benedict
Scrambled eggs served on a sliced croissant with black forest ham and saffron infused Hollandaise sauce.
Baked French Toast
Sliced french bread layered with blueberry jam and cream cheese baked in a mixture of eggs, milk, brown sugar, fresh blueberries, peaches and pecans. Served with blueberry infused maple syrup.
Eggs baked with Prosciutto, Leeks and Mushrooms
Prosciutto, leeks and mushrooms in a mixture of eggs, cream and grated
gruyere cheese. Baked to a fluffy, souffle-like texture.
With a choice of the following:
Chicken pesto sausage. bacon, red bell peppers, zucchini or sunburst
squash, red onion, leeks, cilantro, tomatoes and cheddar, Swiss, jack
or brie cheese.
Lemon Blueberry Pancakes
Served with lemon infused pure maple syrup and melted butter.
Cinnamon raisin French Toast
Cinnamon raisin bread dipped in a batter of eggs, cream, brown sugar,
nutmeg, cinnamon and rolled in crushed corn flakes. Served with melted
butter and pure maple syrup.
